“About three months ago, I saw some holiday photos of myself and realised something had to be done to reverse the effects of a sedentary lifestyle (sitting at a computer all day long) and a more than healthy fondness for good food and drink. But what? I have no interest in jogging, and gyms were an unknown and unattractive world to me. Then I found out about Tony.
We had an introductory chat, and he immediately gave me confidence that, together, something could be done. I signed up for a block of 12 one-hour sessions, and I haven’t looked back. Tony has a fully equipped gym and a wealth of knowledge about fitness and training techniques which he uses to suit each client’s needs and abilities. He can also give nutritional advice: how to eat sensibly to complement the exercises. And he’s a really nice guy.
He explains everything, ensures progress is safely paced, and gives great encouragement. Each session builds on the last. He assesses progress, whether in building core strength or working on particular muscle groups, and varies the equipment used so that each session is different. Already my body shape is changing, I’m gaining strength all round, and I feel so much better, both physically and psychologically. And I enjoy going to my sessions: I’ve just signed up for my next block.

“I’ve known Tony for a long time now. He has helped me not only with my fitness but also my weight loss and mental health. Sessions are fun and personalised to what you are trying to achieve whether it’s fitness, strength, weight loss (combined with a food plan obviously) or you just need motivation to get started without being in front of others!
